Reception
Our Reception students are given the freedom in which to grow, learn and play. We provide a wide range of activities to motivate and inspire them in both our spacious indoor and outdoor learning areas. The classrooms are bright, airy and decorated with the girls’ work, celebrating their successes and reflecting the diversity within the curriculum.
Our passionate and experienced team recognise that every girl is unique. They work hard to build a trusting relationship with each child, which enables the girls to socialise, build confidence and embrace school life. Through a breadth of opportunities, our Reception students are encouraged to engage actively in order to develop inquisitive minds, to explore their desire to discover and learn, and to begin their journey to become independent learners. We ensure that the skills essential for the core subjects have time to be embedded, and parental involvement is seen as key to a student’s success and happiness.

Virtual Tour
It all starts with a tour, an opportunity to talk to students, meet staff, experience the school in action to get a sense of what life at BPS is like and see what a BPS education has to offer.
We also have a wonderful 3D tour for you to explore from the comfort of your own home, prior to your visit. You can see the fantastic all-weather sports pitches by starting at the main entrance and turning 180°.
